97 churches in 9 hours!
This was a challenge! I went all around the island, trying to capture as many of the beautiful churches of our island as I could. In the process I discovered some beautiful chapels and a Byzantine church dating back to the 14th century.
Special thanks to Prokopis. Without his camera, this feat would not have been possible. Also to Mr Panagos for letting me ride his motorbike, through “rivers” and up the mountains, to discover the most isolated chapels. Thank you both.
Instead of a normal gallery, I arranged all the pictures as a collage so you can appreciate the number and beauty of my little adventure.
